Finlandia Ski was held for the first time in 1974 from Hämeenlinna to Lahti. More than 1,000 skiers took part in the first skiing event. Olympic winners and other celebrities of that time were seen on the trails.
The 40th Finlandia Ski will be held from 23-24 February 2013. The distance is 50 kilometres.
