As the national museum of broadcasting, the task of the Radio and TV Museum in Lahti is to collect, research and exhibit artefacts and traditions connected with broadcasting. Permanent exhibition At the exhibition of the Radio and TV Museum you can find lots to see and hear.
You will have the change to see the enormous progress of radio technology, the different sectors of programme production and the social and economic effects of both radio and television.
The drama studio comes alive when the background is chosen and the story begins. The workings of the blue screen, which uses chromakey technology, can be explored through moped rides in and around the city of Lahti. Everyone can be creative in the table theatre and produce his/her own animation. Visitors can record and take home presentations made in the sound and television studios.

The special features of the church include two aisles, star vaults with embossed ring ornaments and wooden carvings of historical importance. Entry to the church is through an Empire-style bell tower designed by C.L. Engel. The decoration of the west gable is among the most beautiful in Finland.
