Amarillo’s roots are under the vast skies of Texas. Texmex that was highly popular globally in the 1980s had not yet landed in Finland,

when a random traveller stumbled upon a town called Amarillo in Texas. The name tasted good and the idea of creating a chain of genuine texmex restaurants here in the north was born.
