The biggest shopping areas in Lahti are located close to the main street Aleksanterinkatu. Newly renovated Trio is the main shopping center in Lahti. Also good shopping areas are in Paavola, where few big markets are located and in Laune which is the biggest shopping area outside city centre.
The special shops and boutiques are normally open on weekdays between 9 and 17. Saturdays from 9 to 14. Shopping centres, department stores and big markets close their doors on weekdays at 21 and on saturdays at 16-18. Many stores are also open on Sundays.
